Our arrival day! We briefly rested before going into London and visiting several tourist sights including Tower Bridge. This was a nice opening after a tiring plane journey.
Another tourist day! We went into London and visited Madame Tussauds, where there were wax models of not only famous figures of Hollywood and English legends, but also of famous Bollywood stars. Next was the London Eye, which is a big wheel on the riverbank of the Thames. When getting to the top of the wheel, you could see a complete 360 of Central London and all the famous sights. We then finished the day by visiting Big Ben and Jubilee Park. We were lucky to have such glorious weather and also arrived on the lightest day of the year, which meant there was daylight until 10pm.
The first official day, we were welcomed to our individual rooms on the prestigious Kingston University campus. We then completed the registration process and were introduced to all the other countries and participants. The other countries involved were from Sri Lanka, Pakisthan, Nepal, USA, Mauritious, UK and Bangladesh. In total, there were 350 participants.

We spent the entire day at Chessington Park, which is one of the biggest theme parks in London. We invited a few other schools to come with and enjoyed the experience with them immensely.
This was a first class educational experience, where the students learned with other schools from all over the world, boosting morals and confidence amongst the students who learned a lot about the important topics they performed. They also gained an invaluable insight into another culture which will help them all with their future life endeavors. A momentous trip and a prestigious award given to the students, as both schools gave great contributions to the event.
They returned to the school with a hero’s welcome. Everyone did their schools and also their home city of Bhavnagar proud. Another international claim to fame for the Bhavnagar region.
