WINNING IS NOT EVERYTHING BUT THE EFFORT TO WIN IS
Recently the students of Silver Bells Public School participated in CONFLUENCE 2012. The 13th World Unity and World Peace Festival organised by City Montessori School – Lucknow from 8th Nov 2012 to 11th Nov 2012.
Confluence 2012 was a humble but significant step being taken towards the unification of thoughts and hearts of children across the globe, a unique endeavor to instill in young minds that unity is the prerequisite of peace and promote the feeling of unity along with discipline, team spirit, competitiveness, co – operation and leadership qualities.
Students of class 6th , 7th and 8th participated in various events such as Magical Fingers (Painting), Rhythmic Tal (Fusion Dance), Word Truce (Debate), Opera House (Dramatics), The UN Crusades (Campaign) , Page Tech (Designing of a Web Page) , Bits and Bytes (Powerpoint Presentation).
This festival provided a platform to our students to bring out their hidden talents in them. it also gave them an opportunity to compete at National and International level and broaden their horizon.
Confluence 2012 has ignited sparkes of sensitivity in our students and develop in them love for humanity and peace, good social interaction and above all raise their confidence level. We appreciate the hard work, trust and enthusiasm shown by all the teachers, principals and Management to make this event successful.
