The 15th of August’2013, the 67thIndependence day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism in the campus of Silver Bells Public School. This day of 15th August of every year is a golden day engraved in the history of the world. We got freedom on this date and it is a day worth of celebrations !!

“Vande Mataram !”

This echo amongst us depicts respect, patriotism and fraternity towards our beloved nation. The melodious songs lightened the atmosphere and filled feelings of patriotism in the hearts of every student. The synchronized movements of the March past was appreciated by all. The songs and the dances and the role play of Milkha Singh, Bhagat Singh & Subhash Chandra Bose took us back to the era of pre-independence. We feel to be a privileged lot to born in free India to be able to breathe fresh air since our birth. Principal Mr. Chakrapani Estarla  of the school in his speech emphasized on utilization of the “Right to vote”  by each & every citizen of the country. The students are the future voters.  We pay our regards to those who laid precious lives to bless us with this freedom.

Let our nation join hands with all nations so we can become global citizens and admire our differences, not criticise them.
