Special Assembly organised for Gujarat Establishment Day and Labour Day
Silver Bells Public School, the leading school in Bhavnagar, is a synonym for not only academics but also sports and cultural activities. Today, May 1, is marked as Gujarat Establishment Day and Labour Day. To mark this occasion, a special assembly was conducted celebrating the glorious 63 years of Gujarat. The morning assembly started with a prayer song by students of classes 6 to 8.
Noteworthy speeches by students of class 9 were delivered on the importance of celebrating this day as ‘Labour Day’ – to honor and salute everyday hard work and ‘Gujarat Establishment Day’- to obtain statehood on linguistic lines.
Keshavi Trivedi, a student of class 10 – has got the gift of the gab, articulated an article on the creation of Gujarat and on the praise of prominent personalities that Gujarat often named as Jewel of Western India has gifted our nation.
A wonderful group dance, choreographed by Dr. Vineeta Zala, was also performed by the students of classes 6 to 8 to entertain the energetic audiences. Lastly, the helping staff of the school was gifted sweets, and games were organized for them by the PE staff. Agglomerating, it was a fun-filled exciting event.
