World Heritage Day was celebrated, by students of Silver Bells Public school in association with Bhavnagar Heritage Preservation Society & INTACH FOUNDATION with the cooperation of Honourable, Brijeshwari Devi Gohil princess of Bhavnagar, by organizing a heritage site visit to Gandhi Smruti, Crescent, Bhavnagar on 18 April 2022.

The students saw rare photographs of Gandhiji which took them back to the freedom movement of India, here students could feel as if Gandhi stood invincible. The library, which holds a vast collection of books and memorabilia that Gandhiji used was also visited.

The artifacts that offer religious carvings and fascinating betel cutters of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat were eye-catching and a great learning experience for the students, the students also enjoyed with fun the Khadi Gramodyog Bhandar in the monument itself, where they got mesmerized just by having a view at the range of traditional handicraft items and local embroidery.
