Gandhi Jayanti Special Assembly
Students of Silver Bells Public School- Bhavnagar, celebrated the 153rd birth anniversary of the Father of the nation – Mahatma Gandhi. A figure the world will never forget. One of the key person to strive endlessly, so that India could be a free nation again.
To commemorate his contribution to the nation, a special assembly was organised by the students of class 9, Silver Bells. The assembly started with his favourite song- Vaishnav Jan Toh Tene Kahiye, followed by some interesting facts about the great personality.
Primary school students were also a part of the assembly with their presence and 2 students; dressed as Mahatma himself. It was his contribution to the nation that we have his photo on our currency notes also- this fact was shared by a student from class 9. Students were enlightened then by a quiz conducted to test; how much do we know about this Godly Saint. The quiz content was enjoyed by the audience.
The assembly was concluded by the choir team singing on the tune of – Raghu Pati Raghav Raja Ram. Students also participated in the FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN.
