Special Assembly: Constitution Day Celebration

Constitution Day is also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’. This day is celebrated in our country on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect on 26 January 1950.

As a part of the celebrations, our School planned a special assembly Under the able guidance of Mr. Chakrapani Esterla and sociology faculty Mr. Kuldip Bhatt, to highlight and reiterate the values and principles enshrined in the constitution. An initiative to present a skit was planned and specially prepared to highlight some of our rights and duties as given to us by this nation in the constitution a written document.

An important part of the celebrations was the address by our principal sir, explaining the content of the Preamble and reaffirming our commitment to uphold it. Students and teachers were happy to know so much about our glorious preamble and the importance of this day for every Indian. Teachers shared a PowerPoint presentation to the students of the Arts department to explain the enduring and invaluable rights and duties of citizens as envisioned by our founding fathers.
