Humanities Students visit to Psychiatrist Dr. Jilan Shah
On 25th November 2022 – Friday students of Psychology batch of class 11 and 12th Humanities along with their mentor Ms. Pinky Mehta paid a visit to a renowned Psychiatrist Dr. Jilan Shah to deburst some psychological myths and problems that people generally face these days and to gain insight about certain areas of Psychology in which students can make their career.
This activity was a part of Teaching – Learning process of Psychology and to make students explore different dimensions that as a subject Psychology has. This was a very detailed interactive session between the doctor and the students as lots of questions were asked regarding different disorders, varieties of psychological phenomenons. Basically, the students also received correct guidance of how their lifestyle should have healthy mental and physical health.
Overall the meeting was fruitful as students not only solved their queries but also knew how to live a well-balanced life ahead and how to take care of mental health. The group ended this session with handing over a small gift and a handmade card to the Doctor and thanked him for his valuable time and information. We all are thankful to the School Management, Principal sir and Vice Principal Ma’am for providing this significant opportunity to the students to explore the subject Psychology under the guidance of their teacher.
