Unlocking Mathematical Creativity: Exploring LCM and HCF Through Art

Engaging students in mathematics can be a creative endeavor by integrating concepts like Least Common Multiple (LCM) and Highest Common Factor (HCF) into art activities. Students of Std -V have understood the concept of LCM and HCF by drawing certain number of petals or shapes, each representing a multiple or factor and then finding the HCF and LCM of the same under the guidance of Ms.Charu and Ms.Archana.

This activity encourages a deeper understanding of LCM and HCF through hands-on application. Artistic expression helps students remember mathematical concepts more effectively. It promotes critical thinking as students explore different ways to represent multiples and factors.

By merging math with art, this integrated activity fosters a holistic approach to learning, enhancing students’ grasp of LCM and HCF while nurturing their creativity.
