Janmashtami Celebration
Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna, is a vibrant and spiritually significant festival celebrated with great enthusiasm across India.
At Silver Bells Public school, we believe in fostering cultural awareness and celebrating diverse festivals to educate our students about our rich heritage. The Janmashtami celebration at our school is a perfect example of how we merge tradition with education and joy.
The celebration typically begins with a special assembly where students and teachers collectively sing devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna. Thereafter there was beautiful performance given by our parents and students. To add excitement, we organize a ‘Matki Phod’ where students attempt to break a clay pot filled with chocolates just like the young Krishna.
The programme was wrapped up with Krishna Aarti and Prasad distribution.
